What is a tricast bet?

Tote & exotic

Tricast — Predict the first three home in the correct order.

Pick 1st, 2nd & 3rd in order

A tricast is a forecast with a third leg: you name the first three horses home in the correct finishing order. It’s hard to land, so the payouts (again set by a computed dividend) can be large, especially in competitive handicaps with a field of eight or more.

A combination tricast covers your three selections in every order (six bets), so any 1-2-3 among them pays — at six times the cost.

A note on honesty: full-cover and accumulator bets are fun and can pay big, but the bookmaker’s margin stacks up with every added bet or leg — so we track and publish these for interest, not as proven profit. Our flagship pick is the Nap of the Day. 18+ · Please gamble responsibly.
